Project scope

Equipoint, renowned for its unique curvature, is strategically located equidistant from Birmingham city centre, NEC, Airport, and Solihull, making it ideal for the city’s key workforce. This project transformed a former commercial building into 247 luxury apartments through vertical extension, strip out, alteration, and refurbishment, enhancing access, parking, and cycle storage facilities. A modern take on sustainable living, the existing windows were replaced with energy-efficient alternatives, to reduce the buildings carbon footprint through enhanced thermal efficiency and noise reduction. The project also involved relocating telephone masts from the roof, Birmingham’s highest point, requiring coordination with operators for necessary certifications. Despite commencing in October 2019, just before the COVID-19 pandemic, the team adeptly pre-ordered materials to mitigate delays, ensuring timely completion.
