Project scope

PMP Consultants served as Quantity Surveyors for Symphony Hall’s £10.3 million redevelopment, aimed at enhancing audience experience and financial resilience. The project, titled ‘Making an Entrance,’ began in summer 2019 and involved a four-storey extension of approximately 1,290 m². Key features include a new entrance foyer from Centenary Square, improved bar and catering facilities, performance spaces, and hosting rooms, all while maintaining business continuity. The design respects the surrounding architecture with a curving frontage that contrasts with the angular geometry of the original ICC building, creating a harmonious blend that complements the Grade II listed Hall of Memory’s circular motif.
