Cost planning

We recognise that accurate cost advice is key to a project’s success. PMP provide reliable cost planning at project inception, and throughout the design stages to give our clients the confidence that designs are affordable. We collaborate with the design team, interrogating each design to provide comprehensive cost estimates. We have experience of working with a variety of funders and can adapt our information into whatever format is required.

Procurement

When it’s time to procure a contractor, we can provide advice on alternative procurement strategies, form of contract, and selection of tenderers. Where required, we can also produce comprehensive tender documentation, and carry out a detailed analysis of tenders to decide on the right contractor for your job.

Cost management

We operate a “no surprises” approach and maintain transparency in our cost management. Throughout construction, our interim valuations confirm you’re paying the right amount. By employing a robust change control system, we deliver precise cost updates, culminating in an accurate final account settlement.

Providing costs to rebuild a property to its original state after damage, to allow suitable insurance coverage. We protect clients from underinsurance by providing a detailed, reliable cost estimate for reinstatement.

Monitoring Surveying

Following preparation of the initial due diligence report, periodically tracking progress, checking financial compliance, and reviewing the use of funds. We help lenders manage risk by tracking costs, timelines, and milestones to check that funds are being spent properly.
